Welcome to your Best Of Laos trip! Upon arrival, your private transfer will take you through the peaceful, monk-filled streets of Luang Prabang to your hotel. You have the rest of the afternoon/evening to explore this laidback, riverside town at your own pace.

After breakfast, you’ll visit the Royal Palace / National Museum. You’ll then stop at a local Hmong village and at a buffalo dairy farm on the way to the breathtaking Kuang Si Waterfalls, a multi-tiered waterfall, which takes on a striking turquoise colour in the dry season, and is perfect for a refreshing bath in the afternoon.

Start your morning by observing an extra-special alms ceremony before a day of exploration. You’ll visit the temples in and around Luang Prabang, plus the Pak Ou caves by boat. Later, you can walk up Mount Phousy for a breathtaking sunset view. End your day by visiting the colourful night market.

Enjoy the relaxed ambience and explore the placid town of Luang Prabang – doing as much or as little as you like.
You’ll be transferred from Luang Prabang by high-speed train to Vang Vieng. Once you have checked in, you’ll have time to explore the Tham Jang Cave and take a long-tail boat ride on the Nam Song River.

You can also visit Mekong Buddha Park and enjoy the laid back atmosphere of this city, plus sample some of its special dishes.
